Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 will launch globally on July 26 during the second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2018. This event will be hosted for the first time by Samsung in Seoul. In a year that has already witnessed the release of numerous foldable smartphones, such as the Tecno Phantom V Fold, the Motorola Razr 40, and the Razr 40 Ultra, Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are two of the most anticipated releases in the foldable smartphone industry. The Galaxy Z Flip 5 256GB and 512GB variants are rumoured to be priced at EUR 1,199 (approximately Rs. 1,08,900) and EUR 1,339 (approximately Rs. 1,21,600), respectively. Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Water Green colour variants are expected to be available.
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are currently available for preorder through Samsung.com, Amazon, Flipkart, and Samsung-exclusive retail outlets in India. It is available for a refundable deposit of Rs 1,999, and consumers who pre-book will receive Rs 5,000 in benefits, according to the company.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 features and specifications
The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is anticipated to feature a 7.6-inch full-HD Dynamic AMOLED display and a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED cover screen. The Galaxy Z Flip 5, on the other hand, is said to have a 6.7-inch full-HD (1,080 x 2,640-pixel) Dynamic AMOLED core display and a 3.4-inch outer display. When folded, the Galaxy Z Flip 5’s larger cover display is anticipated to provide access to Google Messages, YouTube, and Google Maps.
